she is green in the morning under her humid roof she rides the bus she is sideways to the difficult world the people at work in their stiff aprons her mind says Sparrows and Poisons Bulbs and Bulbs the slick floor squeaks to her rubber soles she avoids the more populated aisles the dog walkers pass her by she is greenish because carless the black pond greens in her memory they give her a key to open all her paint her every footprint is a carbon footprint she is left to her own devices her devices fail before the difficulties of the world the dogs look again as the dog walkers pass her by
